1. The main idea of this document was to give an alternate look on Christoper Columbus. One very different than we get from common beliefs.
2.The point of view portrays Columbus in a negative light. This document was written by a reporter named Cathy Booth. The purpose was to reveal what Columbus actually did when he came to the Americas as opposed to popular belief.
3.This document supports other things that i have read that portray Columbus as a very bad person, what with the killing the indians and enslaving them and such.
4.I have learned that it's not uncommon to find people that believe that Columbus was as evil as this document says he is.
